Anritsu is proud to introduce a new line of simple, economic and high performance vector network analyzers aimed at cost-sensitive passive device test applications in engineering, manufacturing, and sustainment.
Shockline RF VNA
Anritsu redefines the Vector Network Analyzer (VNAs) with the new ShockLine™ RF VNA
Designed as a low-cost 2-Port or 4-port VNA to meet the price/performance considerations associated with testing passive multi-port and differential devices which will optimize measurement setups to shorten test times and increase throughput in RF device production applications. The full-featured user interface is enabled by attaching a (user-supplied) touchscreen monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It is based on patented shock line VNA-on-chip technology, which simplifies the internal VNA architecture at high frequencies, reduces instrument cost, and enhances accuracy and measurement repeatability.
MS46322A is a family of 2-port series of Economy ShockLine™ Vector Network Analyzers – frequency range from 1 MHz to 4/8/14/20/30/40 GHz. The entire series has 220 microseconds per point sweep speed, and better than 100 dB dynamic range to 40 GHz, making it suitable for testing passive devices in engineering, manufacturing and cost-sensitive education applications.
MS46522A is a family of 2-port RF ShockLine™ Vector Network Analyzers – frequency range from 50 kHz to 4.5/8.5 GHz. With 70 microseconds per point sweep speed, and better than 110 dB dynamic range, these VNAs are suitable for a variety of passive device test applications to 8.5 GHz in simple engineering, production and education applications.
MS46524A is a family of 4-port RF ShockLine™ Vector Network Analyzers – frequency range from 10 MHz to 4.5/8.5 GHz. The MS46524A are a low cost, 4-port VNAs packaged in a compact and rugged 2U chassis capable of measuring 16 single-ended and mixed-mode S-parameters. Additionally, time domain measurements are available as an option for simple signal integrity testing on high-speed digital boards.
With 77 microseconds per point sweep speed, and better than 110 dB dynamic range, these VNAs are ideal for testing passive multiport and differential devices to 8.5 GHz.
Compact Shockline USB VNAS
Anritsu is pleased to introduce the Compact ShockLine™ USB Vector Network Analyzer
MS46122A is a family of new Compact ShockLine USB Vector Network Analyzers. These new VNAs are packaged in a very compact 1U chassis and are externally controlled via USB from a user supplied PC running the same Graphical User Interface (GUI) software as the rest of the ShockLine family of VNAs. Unlike the MS46322A, MS46522, and MS46524 series, the MS46122A does not include an embedded computer and solid-state drive. The unit also comes standard with 19” rack mount hardware for convenient rack mount installation.
The combination of low cost, small size, and good performance make the MS46122A series VNAs ideal for passive device test applications where performance and portability are desired.
The Compact ShockLine VNAs are offered in three different frequency option ranges:
- MS46122A-010 1 MHZ to 8 GHz
- MS46122A-020 1 MHZ to 20 GHz
- MS46122A-040 1 MHZ to 40 GHz
